About The Position

This role involves performing various material handling duties within the facility, including loading and unloading trucks and containers. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, committed to following procedures, and proficient in using the stock locator system. Accuracy in operating a computer, strong math skills, and the ability to maintain accurate records are essential. The position requires reading work orders, pick slips, requisitions, memos, and Department 10 paperwork. Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is necessary. This is a physically demanding, fast-paced role that requires lifting, lowering, pushing, and pulling packages weighing 25-35 pounds, with some packages weighing up to 70 pounds. The job also involves operating a company tow motor (or obtaining a license), moving skids of material with hand pallet trucks, and floor loading trucks. Teamwork, adherence to safety standards, and good housekeeping practices are also required.

• Must have or be able to obtain a company tow motor license
• Ability to move skids of material with hand pallet trucks when necessary
• Ability to floor load trucks as needed
• Lifting and bending is required
• Able to work well with others
• Commitment to following all safety standards
• Good housekeeping required
