About The Position

Performs a variety of shipping tasks: Verifies materials being shipped are as ordered and packaging material. Prepare items for shipment ensuring cost effectiveness.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of shipping and receiving experience
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes
• Communicate effectively with production staff and management
• Basic understanding of OSHA safety requirements
• Understand and interpret blueprints
• Capable of prioritizing multiple tasks while completing them in a timely fashion
• Maintain a valid Driver’s License
• Must be able to become certified through Viper Trailers and pass testing

Responsibilities

• Package and label product per standard or customer requirements
• Receive, unload, and identify incoming materials, transfer to appropriate stocking area, notify manufacturing manager or other needed personnel of receipt of materials
• Operate fork truck as needed
• Coordinate and manage stock program
• Perform other relevant duties as assigned
