About The Position

This role is responsible for assisting in preparing and packing products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer specifications. The position involves transporting customer products using correct lifting methods to prevent injuries, organizing inventory within the shipping area to ensure proper stock levels, and inspecting outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies. The Shipping/Loader will also work closely with other departments to ensure efficient shipping processes and adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines. This role is a full-time position with standard working hours, though occasional overtime may be required during peak periods. The environment is fast-paced with tight deadlines and multiple priorities, requiring collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software programs.
• Great interpersonal skills are essential to operate in and maintain a team environment.
• Great communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0-1 year of previous experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
• May be required to frequently lift to 50 lbs. Depending on the job.
• Hand dexterity and strength.
• Prolonged sitting and terminal use.
• Requires adherence to safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and packing products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer specifications.
• Provide aid in transporting customer products by utilizing correct lifting methods to prevent injuries.
• Help to organize inventory within the shipping area, ensuring proper stock levels.
• Inspect outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure efficient shipping processes.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
