This role will assist the Distribution Supervisor in managing all IPC & Ascend shipping functions (domestic & international), as well as ensure continuous quality, safety, leadership & customer service.

Requirements

• High School diploma, or equivalent
• One leadership class - in house
• Must be computer literate
• Good communication skills
• Leadership ability
• Have an understanding of NetSuite
• Ability to train new employees
• Ability to comprehend written and/or verbal communications
• Inpro product knowledge
• Ability to do one-on-ones

Nice To Haves

• Works with traffic department
• Communicates/helps with Shipping Analyst
• Work as a lead on the floor
• Authority to stop production for non-conforming quality or safety compliance
• To enforce company policies and procedures
• Delegate responsibility and move personnel to needed work areas
• Make decisions on product conformance to specifications
• Make logical decisions based on experience and or company policy

Responsibilities

• Assist Freight Shipping Supervisor
• Assist shippers (UPS & freight)
• Printing orders and managing e-mails
• Pick and package orders
• Maintain order flow to in paper or paperless
• Call in for trailer swaps if needed
• Spot and pull trailers
• Maintain and promote ISO standards
• Promote Safety protocols
