About The Position
As a Shipping Lead, you will oversee daily operations in receiving, shipping, and logistics. You’ll be a hands-on leader, coaching your team to ensure maximum productivity while maintaining high standards for quality and safety. Working under the guidance of a Supervisor, you’ll be a key player in keeping our distribution center running smoothly. Shift: Sunday to Wednesday - 7:00am to 5:30pm
Requirements
- 1+ years of leadership experience in a distribution or shipping environment.
- Associate’s degree OR equivalent professional experience.
- Intermediate computer skills (Email, Microsoft Office, Google Sheets).
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Certification in material handling equipment (or willingness to become certified).
Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and coach a team of 6-10 employees, ensuring high morale and efficient performance.
- Coordinate daily shipping activities, communicate with carriers, and manage data entry in Microsoft Office and Google Sheets.
- Enforce all safety, GMP, and SQF policies while maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
