Shipping & Inventory Control Specialist
About The Position
This role is responsible for operating forklifts to move, load, and unload materials and equipment. The specialist will coordinate with technicians, management, and customer/client groups to provide goods, services, and information, meeting support requirements and schedules. Key duties include picking orders accurately and efficiently, organizing warehouse products for inventory accuracy, and inspecting/verifying incoming and outgoing shipments. The role also involves completing shipping and receiving paperwork, maintaining warehouse equipment, and adhering to health and safety regulations and standard operating procedures. Collaboration with team members and communication of issues to management are essential. The position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions, lifting up to 75 lbs daily, climbing, bending, and potential work after hours or on call.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid forklift operator certification
- JDE experience
- Experience setting up UPS and LTL shipments
- Experience in shipping and receiving, including loading and unloading trucks and operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and regulations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management and order fulfillment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed

- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
