About The Position
The Shipping Inspector will be responsible for auditing all shipments/loads according to the load sheet/instructions and the established outbound/inbound processes. This role requires accurate and effective communication with the shipping and transportation departments. The primary purpose is to audit all loads/shipments, ensuring 100% accuracy, consolidating supplier shipments into truckloads, creating the Shipping Manifest for daily truckloads, and complying with established SOPs and cut-off times.
Requirements
- Accurate and effective communication with the shipping / Transportation departments.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Bi-lingual in Spanish
Responsibilities
- Auditing all shipments/loads according to the load sheet/instructions and the established outbound/inbound processes.
- Auditing all loads/shipments according to Load Sheet/Instructions and Import Pedimento.
- Ensuring 100% accuracy in all shipments.
- Consolidating suppliers shipments in truckloads.
- Creating the Shipping Manifest for the daily truckloads.
- Complying with established SOP's and cut off times.
