About The Position

Lakeside Book Company is seeking a Seasonal Shipping Forklift Operator for their 1st shift. This role is crucial in maintaining the flow of products within the warehouse. This position offers an opportunity for permanent hire after a 90-day evaluation period, with a full-time schedule and overtime required. The operator will be responsible for various tasks related to shipping and inventory management.

Requirements

• 6 months previous forklift experience required
• Ability to work at heights of 30+ feet
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift 50lbs
• Safety shoes required

Responsibilities

• Operate a turret, cherry picker, stand-up forklift, and walkie stacker
• Case and full pallet pick
• Stow product
• Perform cycle counts to maintain inventory levels
• Follow all safety guidelines
