Shipping Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift
About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shipping Forklift Operator for our afternoon shift. This role involves operating various types of forklifts, including cherry pickers, stand-up forklifts, and walkie stackers, to perform tasks such as case picking, full pallet picking, and loading/unloading. You will also be responsible for stowing product, conducting cycle counts for inventory management, and adhering to all safety guidelines. The position offers an opportunity for permanent hire after a 90-day evaluation period and requires a commitment to a full-time schedule with mandatory overtime, including Saturdays.
Requirements
- 6 months previous order picker and stand up forklift experience required
- Ability to work at heights of 30+ feet - required
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift 50lbs
- Safety shoes required
Responsibilities
- Operate a cherry picker, stand-up forklift, and walkie stacker
- Case pick, full pallet pick, load/unload
- Other duties on or off the forklift as assigned
- Stow product
- Cycle counts to maintain inventory levels
- Follow all safety guidelines
