About The Position
The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, tracking, and executing all inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective delivery of goods. This role works closely with warehouse teams, carriers, freight forwarders, and internal departments to support efficient shipping operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or coordination required
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Knowledge of shipping documentation and processes
- Experience working with carriers and freight forwarders
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage all inbound and outbound shipments
- Track shipments and ensure on-time delivery
- Communicate with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal teams
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation (BOLs, labels, invoices, etc.)
- Ensure accuracy of orders, shipments, and inventory movement
- Resolve shipping issues, delays, or discrepancies
- Monitor shipping costs and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain organized shipping records and logs
- Support overall warehouse and logistics operations
