About The Position

Stratas Foods is seeking a 2nd Shift Shipping Clerk to join their team. This role involves a variety of tasks related to order fulfillment, truck scheduling, data entry, and record management. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong problem-solving skills. This position requires adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and all safety and environmental regulations. The role also involves preparing and verifying orders for the next day and communicating effectively with the scheduler.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Proficient (or ability to become proficient) use of Word/Excel and various inventory system
• Must be highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
• Must have good problem solving skills
• Must be detail oriented
• Must be team oriented
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to climb stairs, bend, kneel, stand for extended periods, work in confined spaces, and work at heights
• Must have the appropriate level of sensory acuity (visual, hearing, speaking, smell and touch) to be able to identify and react to normal, abnormal and alarm conditions (chemicals, temperature, etc.)
• Must be able to logically and methodically work through and break down complex problems and processes to enable effective communication with all levels of the organization

Responsibilities

• Assign/pick orders
• Schedule appointments for inbound and outbound trucks
• Enter data into PMOS
• Manage/store records according to the Records Management Program
• Assist with monthly inventory
• Back-up Inventory Clerk
• Back-up other Shipping Clerk
• Enter data into and maintain shipping efficiency spreadsheet
• Track truck detention
• Daily production entry
• Enter movement sheets
• Sort BOL’s
• Schedule/arrange delivery trucks
• Receive inbound packages/supplies scan/complete in Maximo
• Prepare and verify orders for next day
• Adhere to and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP requirements
• Adhere to and enforce all safety and environmental rules and regulations
• Communicate with scheduler
• Perform other duties as assigned
