About The Position

Daily Instruments is seeking an experienced Shipping Clerk to join our rapidly growing manufacturing team. This position will assist with shipping duties for all company needs, as well as distribution of inbound packages. Shipping Clerks are responsible for working in a cohesive team environment to ensure all shipments (domestic & international) are shipped in compliance with customer requirements. The successful Shipping Clerk will ensure that assigned tasks are completed safely, in strict compliance with ISO & QA requirements, and in a timely basis to meet shipping requirements. This is a Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt in a production shop environment.

Requirements

• Team Work orientation
• Basic understanding of shop math
• Dependable and Reliable production orientation
• Working knowledge of hand power tools, and other hand-held tools
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer other than current employer
• Must be fluent in English with ability to communicate in any other language is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks that are necessary to the production process.
• Carry out assembly day-to-day work instructions to ensure accurate and timely shipments.
• Read and understand shipping instructions.
• Work with various couriers/carriers (domestic and international).
• Build crates, pallets, or skids and box and package orders to eliminate damage of shipment.
• Receive inbound shipments of all incoming parts, materials and components.
• Enter received data into computer system to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
