About The Position

Atlas Staffing has partnered with a premier, privately-held global manufacturer and supplier of cutting-edge visual communication, event, and display products. Our client is looking for a Production Operator to join their team.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
2-3 years of experience in shipping/receiving required
Basic shipping/packaging knowledge
Basic math skills
Ability to read and write English
Strong computer skills
Proficiency with MS outlook and Excel
Strong problem solver
Possess a strong sense of urgency
Attention to detail
Strong follow through skills

Responsibilities

Contact outside shipping vendors for shipments of product
Obtain quotes from shipping vendors on shipping methods
Make necessary inventory changes in NAV
Compare identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices if necessary
Utilize E-Sup software to ship packages
Determine weight of shipments
Communicate with Customer Service on changes to shipments if necessary
Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
May operate tier-lift truck or use hand-truck to move, convey or hoist shipments form shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area correctly fulfilled
Consolidate shipping orders if required
All other duties as assigned by supervisor
