About The Position

Xtreme Aviation is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to support our daily logistics and shipping operations. The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for preparing, processing, documenting, and tracking outgoing shipments of aircraft parts and materials. This position plays an important role in ensuring shipments are accurate, properly documented, compliant with shipping requirements, and delivered on time to support our aviation operations. The ideal candidate has previous shipping and receiving experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, hands-on aviation environment.

Requirements

1+ year of shipping and receiving experience.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic computer and data-entry skills.
Ability to accurately prepare shipping documentation and enter shipment information.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
English proficiency required.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to bend, squat, and stand for extended periods.
Ability to work comfortably in a warehouse or aircraft hangar environment with moderate to high noise levels.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in aviation shipping, aircraft parts, or an aviation MRO environment is preferred.
Experience working with aircraft parts and materials.
Previous aviation or aerospace shipping experience.
Experience shipping aircraft parts or aviation materials.
Experience using FedEx, UPS, and DHL shipping systems.
Experience preparing BOLs, packing slips, and commercial invoices.
Experience tracking shipments and maintaining shipping records.
Forklift experience.
Strong computer and data-entry skills.
Excellent organization and attention to detail.
Ability to identify and report shipping discrepancies or delays.
Spanish language skills in addition to English.

Responsibilities

Prepare and process outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
Properly pack, label, and weigh packages according to shipping requirements.
Generate shipping labels using FedEx, UPS, and DHL systems.
Verify shipment information to ensure accuracy before packages are released.
Track outgoing shipments and provide status updates to internal teams.
Report shipping discrepancies, delays, or other issues promptly.
Prepare and maintain shipping documentation, including: Bills of Lading (BOLs), Packing slips, Commercial invoices.
Maintain accurate and organized shipping records.
Verify shipment details and documentation for completeness and accuracy.
Ensure shipping paperwork supports timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure orders are fulfilled and shipped on time.
Communicate shipment status and issues to appropriate team members.
Work collaboratively with other departments to support daily aviation operations.
Maintain an organized and efficient shipping area.
