About The Position

We are looking for production associates to assemble and prepare printed components for shipment. The schedule for this full-time position is:
· 2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday, 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM (10-hour shifts)
Ideal candidates will have experience working in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines with sound attention to detail. As a shipping clerk, you will read and understand job ticket instructions and all forms of written instructions to perform duties that will ensure a quality product produced safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• Ability to remain organized and self-directed in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to learn computer applications as necessary for the position.
• Ability to read, interpret and follow verbal and written instructions, work procedures and other related materials.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong customer service skills.
• Must communicate appropriate information accurately and clearly as needed.
• Basic math, ruler and computer skills
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) necessary.

Responsibilities

• Proper packaging of printed materials for distribution
• Read and understand the written information pertaining to the job
• Strive to meet or exceed departmental and company goals
• Maintain accurate counts
• Move and organize scheduled work for assigned machinery
• Assist in training new Bindery employees
• Monitor production and quality to make recommendations on process improvements
