About The Position
This position reports to the 2nd Shift Shipping Superintendent. The work schedule for this position is Sunday to Thursday, 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Start time is 2:00pm every two weeks. Overtime is required. Some weekend work is required. Flex time is not available.
Requirements
- High school education or the equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated use of strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to accurately add large columns of numbers quickly and accurately.
- Ability to learn plant-based computer applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work on your feet and tolerate working in a 40° environment.
- Experience with personal computers, Windows, and Excel.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of company inventory control system.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates the loading of inbound and outbound trucks.
- Reconciles inbound and outbound shipments contents between operator entry and actual orders.
- Assist supervisors in monitoring inventory, code dates, paperwork completion, physical inventory sampling and other duties as assigned.
- Maintains accurate Warehouse, Cold Side AS/RS, Freezer and Loin Cooler inventory records.
- Assist transportation team as needed
