About The Position

The Shipping Clerk position is a full-time, permanent role requiring a commitment to customer service excellence and leading by example. The ideal candidate will maintain a positive attitude, adhere to all human resources, operational, and food and health safety policies, and contribute to a supportive work environment. This role involves various administrative duties related to outbound shipments and requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment.

Requirements

• Completion of High School, GED, or equivalent is required
• Must have at least 1 year of experience as a shipping clerk, customs, or similar role
• Strong organizational, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Must be a team player, able to multi-task and learn quickly
• Must have strong sense of urgency
• Must be able to communicate in a clear and concise manner, (verbally and written) in English
• Must be able to function in a high capacity within a stressful work environment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Famous is considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Check all outbound scans and verify against P.O.’s
• Prepare outbound paperwork
• Inspect shipment documentation for quantities, descriptions, and proper goods
• Conduct physical inventory and cycle counts of outbound materials
• Data Entry as assigned by shipping supervisor or manager
• Investigate shipping related concerns/ Issues
• Assign check-ins and check-outs within TMS
• Data entry within temperature recording portals
• Data entry within customer platforms, (ASN, ITrade)
• Emailing Carriers PODs and following up on priority emails
• Any other administrative duties assigned by management
