About The Position

The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for order picking, accounting for all materials and supplies, and operating a forklift & pallet jack. The individual will also be responsible for processing, packaging, shipping, and/or storing supplies and materials.

Requirements

The ability to lift 50 pounds of weight using proper lifting or team-lift techniques
Experience using a forklift and/or pallet jack preferred; ability to pass forklift training required
Computer inventory experience preferred
Cycle count experience preferred
RF Scanner experience preferred
Good communication skills to interact with multiple levels and titles, and internal and external contacts
Exceptional teamwork skills
A solid work ethic including reliability
3-5 years of Warehouse Experience
Lead experience a plus.
Self motivated and has the ability to get things done by motivating others.
Ability to improve KU processes and inventory accuracy.
Attention to detail and can work independently to research issues.
Proven Safety and Attendance Record.
Experienced in SAP with proven accuracy and attention to detail.
Experienced with Materials Handling
Works well with others in a team environment
Ability to multi-task and deliver on time under pressure.
A high school diploma or GED equivalent
1-2 years of warehouse experience including most or all of the following: Shipping and receiving, Picking and packing (order picking), Loading and unloading

Responsibilities

Order picking - handling the receipt, movement, storage and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures
Processing, packaging, shipping and/or storing supplies, materials
Accounting for all materials and supplies by auditing goods received into warehouse
Operating a forklift and pallet jack, as needed
Following the required operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of the facility and equipment
Bringing high energy and attention to detail to maintain quality, productivity and accuracy
Always following safety policies and protocols.
