About The Position

Four Hands is hiring a Shipping Clerk to join their warehouse operations team. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate load preparation, shipping documentation, and timely outbound operations. The Shipping Clerk will act as a key point of contact for drivers and warehouse personnel, contributing to the efficient functioning of the warehouse. Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Experience working with shipping documents, including bills of lading, manifests, and carrier paperwork
Strong computer skills, including experience with warehouse management systems, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other business applications
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication and customer service skills when interacting with drivers, carriers, and internal teams
Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working in a warehouse setting and occasionally walking the floor to verify shipments and loads
Willingness to work overtime as needed
Steel-toed boots or shoes are required during work hours

Nice To Haves

1+ year of experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse administration, or distribution center operations preferred

Responsibilities

Coordinate driver check-in and check-out processes, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate
Prepare and process shipping paperwork, including bills of lading (BOLs), manifests, packing lists, and delivery documents
Build and release customer orders in the warehouse management system to support outbound shipping operations
Verify shipment accuracy by reviewing order details, quantities, and destination information
Communicate with warehouse teams, carriers, and supervisors to ensure efficient load scheduling and execution
Maintain accurate shipping records and update system information as needed
Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies in a timely manner
Support inventory and shipping audits as required
Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment while adhering to company policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned, in accordance with training and qualifications
