This position is responsible for managing and coordinating daily route manifests, ensuring receiving and shipping windows are met, and updating the Hot Parts Board. The role involves managing dock and yard inventory, trailer movements, and trailer tracking sheets. Accurate paperwork maintenance for part inventory of trailers in the yard is crucial. The clerk will maintain records for the seat shipping system (BOS requirements), coordinate logistics with outside warehouses, and manage the input of incoming receipts. Diligent record-keeping of packing slips and returnable containers is required, along with maintaining a system for tracking Truckload Utilization (TUMS). The position requires the ability to work with minimum supervision and maintain all CTPAT requirements (trainable). A valid forklift license is mandatory, and the clerk must ensure compliance with all safety procedures and safe working procedures in assigned production areas. Maintaining all BOS requirements for shipping, receiving, and transportation management is also a key responsibility.
