Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar or related position
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiar with use of MS Office software
- Must be able to work independently and under time constraints
Nice To Haves
- Transportation experience/background preferred
- Familiar with use of TMS, and Sage 400 (MAS) a plus
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate daily shipments with carriers
- Ensure documentation of outgoing loads is present and correct
- Track and trace all shipments and load status
- Ensure TMS system contain current and complete data
- Creates all BOLs and shipping documentation required for all outgoing loads
- Scans all BOLs and pictures for all shipments into corresponding job folders
- Responds promptly to all customer inquiries
- Communication with all levels of personnel, i.e. Superintendents, Managers, and Project Managers on material being loaded and shipped
- Assist Accounts Payable in resolving problem freight invoices
- Updates and maintains Shipping Log on a daily basis
- Updates Load Board on all outgoing scheduled shipments
- Enters shipping requisitions for needed supplies and tools
- Perform assigned activities according to Company requirements and procedures as directed by Supervisor.
- Complies with all HSE regulations and requirements
- Follow all health safety procedure and regulations as outlined by the Company
