About The Position
Control Assemblies Company is seeking to fill the Shipping Clerk role in Gaylord, MN. The Shipping Clerk prepares and prints shipping labels corresponding to shipping needs.
Requirements
- High School diploma
- Experience in customer service
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of shipping/receiving or willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Pick orders/materials from stock, storage, or staging area and deliver to production as needed.
- Prepare product for shipping to customers, box, crate, shrink-wrap, load, and unload trucks.
- Assembles and fills boxes and other cartons with items that need to be shipped.
- Affixes proper postage to each package in preparation for shipping.
- Affix address label and any other special labels required for handling material and schedule carriers to meet customers delivery requirements.
- Tracks inventory and reports any shortages.
