About The Position
The Shipping/Receiving Clerk will visually inspect part, mark, and package materials for shipments to customers.
Requirements
- Must stand at least 8 hours per day.
- Frequently required to grasp, handle, and feel objects, control and manage tools with full body control, and climb or balance.
- Occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk or hear.
- Will push and pull at least 50 pounds consistently.
- Frequently lift and/or move from ground to table up to 25 pounds.
- Occasionally lift and/or move from ground to table up to 40 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Responsibilities
- Count parts, check paperwork for count, and sign off on previous operations.
- Visually inspect for defects in workmanship.
- Package, part mark, and wrap per instructions.
- Clock activity and counts into MRP system (E2).
- Keep the area clean and organized for maximum efficiency.
- Schedule all time off in advance when situations permit.
- Performs all other duties as assigned
