About The Position

This is a seasonal Shipping Clerk position with a shift from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, paying $18.94 per hour. The role requires adherence to plant safety rules, a positive and team-oriented attitude, and initiative in improving company operations. The clerk will work with the Leadership team to implement changes, collaborate effectively with other departments, and maintain 5S standards in the warehouse and dock while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Responsibilities include operating safely and accurately, coordinating with Transportation for smooth truck movement, setting up and writing Stock Transfer Orders (STOs) daily, and reporting any errors or deviations immediately. A self-directed, team-oriented, focused, and engaged mindset with critical thinking capability and professional integrity is essential. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and flex the work schedule according to volumes and seasonal needs is required. Maintaining all products following FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and performing other assigned duties are also part of the role. The position is located in Waseca, Minnesota, with an anticipated close date of May 22, 2026.

Requirements

Must be a licensed Fork Truck Operator.
Frequent bending, lifting (up to 50 pounds), squatting, reaching above shoulders, etc may be required.
Must be able to work in a cold environment for 90% of your shift where the temperature reaches -20 degrees.
Actively participate in CPS programs and implementation.
You will be required to follow the Birds Eye Foods attendance policy for the Waseca Plant.

Maintain 5S in the warehouse and dock while following all GMP’s.
Operate in a safe and accurate manner.
Work directly with Transportation to ensure trucks are moving smoothly.
Set-up and write orders (STO’s) to existing plants and 3PL’s daily.
Report any errors or deviation from standard immediately.
Must demonstrate an engaged mindset that is self-directed, team oriented, focused, as well as demonstrated critical thinking capability and professional integrity.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to multitask and flex working schedule according to volumes and seasonal needs.
Maintain all product while following FIFO.
Perform other duties and assume additional responsibilities as assigned by the Warehouse Leadership team.
