About The Position
Responsible for domestic and international outbound shipping of merchandise and non-merchandise product for all channels of business. Responsible for receiving and proper distribution of inbound product to respective departments.
Requirements
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Able to Multi-task
- Must be able to work in fast paced environment
- Must be willing to work overtime when required
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs
Responsibilities
- Receiving, transacting, or shipping merchandise, components, or non-merch product
- Meeting productivity goals/measurements set forth by Logistics Management
- Creating shipping labels and packing orders to ship via FedEx, UPS, and Brinks
- Reporting overages/shortages and picking inaccuracies to management and maintaining inventory integrity
- Assisting management with departmental projects and responsibilities
- Receiving and dispatching deliveries
- Delivering received packages to proper departments
- Ensuring accurate packaging and documentation are included for each shipment
- Planning, balancing, and completion of orders including packaging materials, components, and finished goods
- Communicating and suggesting improvements to increase the effectiveness of the shipping and receiving process, systems, procedures and recommending improvements and enhancements as required
- Keeping work area organized and clean, keeping inventory of proper shipping supplies neat, clean and organized with adequate inventory levels stored appropriately.
