About The Position

This role is responsible for supporting daily shipping, receiving, packing, and inventory activities to ensure materials and finished components are processed accurately, safely, and on time.

Requirements

  • A high school degree or GED certificate.
  • Mathematical ability is a must.
  • Ability to resolve problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle as authorized.
  • Ability to operate a forklift.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time; a minimum of 2 hours.
  • Ability to maneuver all areas of the office, shop, warehouse, or manufacturing plant
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and carry up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items while working at assigned desk area.
  • Ability to use standard office technology and workplace equipment, including computers, printers/copiers, and other essential tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain productivity amid interruptions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, including reading, writing, speaking, and understanding, as require for the role.
  • Ability to recognize and respond to visual and auditory information as needed to perform job duties.
  • Complete all work in a safe manner and follow all safety requirements consistent with supporting the Company’s goals.
  • Follow all environmental requirements consistently with supporting the company’s environmental performance goals.
  • Complete, and actively participate in all other EHS training requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform the daily operations of oiling, packing and shipping completed components on time and undamaged.
  • Follow all safety rules for use of the company’s industrial lift trucks within the plant to move materials as needed or directed.
  • Review the parts prior to packing for etched identification, correlation to the part drawings, and ensure that the customer parts are properly identified.
  • Photograph products being shipped and maintain electronically by job number.
  • Generate Generic Packing List to ship products to vendors or customers.
  • Receive materials against purchase orders within the operating system in accordance to the work instructions.
  • Ensure that the actual materials received matches the Purchase Order specifications.
  • Inspect incoming goods for damage, count and prepare receiving documents in addition to recording shortages and damage.
  • Pick and issue inventory goods for Production Orders - The "Draw" sequence.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
