About The Position
Sheridan MN is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our fulfillment warehouse team. In this role, you will be a key player, responsible for ensuring goods shipped are delivered in the most economical manner that meets the customers' needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Excellent verbal, written communication, organization and PC skills and attention to detail.
Nice To Haves
- Technical school or college preferred.
- One-year related experience in shipping/receiving preferred.
- Knowledge in the UPS, FedEx and USPS shipping systems.
Responsibilities
- Quote package charges – ensuring the best possible rate is obtained for the goods being shipped.
- Ensure proper labels and tickets have been applied before shipping and all finished goods are shipped to the correct destination.
- Close job tickets by adding freight charges, materials and final shipping quantities.
- Provide recap of daily shipments.
