About The Position

Reporting to the Shipping Supervisor, the Shipping Clerk is accountable for invoicing customers for product ordered through the order desk and administratively preparing for delivery and pick-ups. Position codes, invoices, process warehouse releases and stock transfers, balances carrier account, maintains customer account inventory levels and processes export documentation and government forms.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 diploma
  • Data entry experience
  • Min of 2+ yrs of experience in similar role
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Good communication skills, verbal and written
  • Must be flexible, ability to work under pressure, attention to detail and multitask

Nice To Haves

  • Previous customer service/shipping experience an asset
  • Prior experience in export shipping (asset)

Responsibilities

  • Processing invoices and inter-company orders.
  • Data entry of raw and FFP product, tub and pallet inventories.
  • Maximizing service levels and maintaining relationships with customer base.
  • Preparing reports and documentation.
