About The Position

The Shipping Bander performs a variety of operational functions that constitute the production, inspection, and distribution of products or services for customers. This role involves packaging high-pressure cylinders, operating banding and shrink wrap machines, checking serial numbers, driving a forklift, and basic computer operation. The position requires adherence to safety policies, quality standards (ISO), and company work rules, while maintaining a clean work environment and demonstrating good work ethics.

Requirements

• Possess an education or experience level that permits effective communication and performance of duties, assignments, and responsibilities.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents relating to the job, function, or assignment.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical equations.
• Ability to make decisions when identifying in-process problems.
• Ability to deal with a variety of job assignments.
• Ability to use machinery/equipment required to accomplish a given job assignment.
• Ability to work effectively, courteously, and respectfully with co-workers and other personnel.

Responsibilities

• Perform assignments in accordance with established safety policies and procedures.

• Package High Pressure Cylinders.
• Operate banding machine.
• Check off serial numbers.
• Operate shrink wrap machine.
• Drive the fork truck.
• Operate a computer.
• Accomplish all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.
