Requirements
- Currently pursuing a certification or degree beyond high school diploma (all interests welcome)
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents, technical procedures, and regulations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reports, business correspondence, and presentations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel
- Ability to maintain and manage a database
- Understanding of probability, statistics, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts to real-world shipping and inventory tasks
- Regularly lift and carry up to 10 lbs., frequently lift up to 25 lbs., and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Stand, walk, and move continuously for up to 8 hours per day
- Use hands and arms to handle objects, tools, and shipping equipment
- Occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed for tasks
- Vision requirements include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in logistics, warehouse work, or manufacturing is a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Pick and pack orders accurately for daily shipments
- Prepare shipments by labeling, wrapping, and staging products
- Inspect outgoing shipments to ensure quality and accuracy
- Maintain inventory records and report any discrepancies
- Use shipping tools and equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean workspace
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth shipping operations
