Shipping Associate 1 Shift (5AM - 1:30PM) SEASONAL
About The Position
This is a seasonal Shipping Associate position for the 5 AM - 1:30 PM shift. The role involves filling orders, counting, loading, and unloading product on incoming trailers according to the shipping schedule. It requires a demonstration of competency for all on-the-job activities that may have a direct or indirect effect on product safety, legality, and/or quality. The position is very physical and requires the ability to exert force to use a hand truck to transport stacked products weighing up to 400 pounds a distance of up to 300 feet continuously throughout the day into and out of transport trucks, up and down 30-degree slopes. It also requires the ability to stoop, bend, and lift product containers weighing 20 pounds from floor level up to 7-1/2 feet.
Requirements
- High School or GED
- Demonstrated ability to read, comprehend and record information applicable to the job.

Responsibilities
- Ensures that product received from plant or other plants is recorded correctly.
- Load and unloads to appropriate distribution area to ensure that shipping schedules are met.
- Maintains cleanliness of work area.
- Performs other duties as directed by supervisor.
- Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.).
- Fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures.
