About The Position
Silvus is seeking a Shipping Associate- I to manage outbound shipments, including inspection, packing, and paperwork. This role also involves handling inventory, coordinating transportation, and ensuring timely deliveries. This position will report into Supply Chain Leadership. This is a fully on-site position, Monday through Friday. The location for this role will be at our Salt Lake City facility.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience using systems and software like FedEx, UPS, and DHL.
- Experience with shipping, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience shipping commercial goods to international destinations.
- Highly proficient in Google Suite and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced office environment, meeting multiple deadlines.
- Must have a current, valid driver’s license and no traffic violations.
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts.
- Employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for all aspects of outbound shipments, including inspection, packing, and accurate preparation of shipping documentation for both domestic and international orders.
- Manage packaging material inventories, ensuring adequate supply for shipping needs.
- Manage the packaging and shipping process of customer orders, as well as the handling of logistics for trade shows.
- Coordinate transportation and carrier services to ensure timely delivery schedules.
- Perform other related duties of which the above are representative.
