About The Position

This role involves performing shipping and receiving duties. The individual will be responsible for loading and unloading product from various types of vehicles, operating scales for weighing product, and stacking/unstacking containers. A key responsibility is to read the shipping schedule to ensure accurate loading of trucks with the correct product. Other duties will be assigned by the Area Group Lead.

Requirements

• Ability to be certified in Powered Industrial Truck (in-house)
• Good communication skills with drivers
• Some computer skills (printing paperwork, printing labels, sending/receiving emails, receiving product in)
• Ability to be trained in-house on running scales

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading product from semi-trailers, vans, & flatbed trucks
• Operating scales for weighing product
• Stacking and unstacking of various containers ranging from metal tubs to cardboard boxes
• Reading shipping schedule to ensure trucks are loaded with correct product
• Other duties & responsibilities as assigned by Area Group Lead
