Requirements

Minimum 5 years shipping/receiving/warehousing experience
Clean driving record of safe operation of all types of powered industrial trucks
Proficient with Microsoft Office
High school diploma or GED required

Nice To Haves

Food manufacturing experience preferred

Responsibilities

Loading and unloading trucks
Order picking
Stretch-wrapping pallets
Packing
Palletizing
Shipping and receiving
Control of inbound and outbound materials/ingredients/products
Entering information and resolving discrepancies in computerized Warehouse Management system relating to raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and finished goods
Notifying Maintenance when problems arise, or other work needs to be done on forklifts, docks, doors, or other areas of the plant
Transporting, staging, and rotating product in coolers/freezers
Maintaining warehouse storage facility
Storing items in correct locations and keeping area free of debris
Operating within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and HACCP food safety plan guidelines
Communicating with operators from other shifts regarding daily shipping/receiving tasks
Assuring food safety standards with regards to GMPs and HACCP plan are being followed by self and fellow employees
Maintaining a professional, courteous manner with all visitors, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees
Following established company policies and those outlined in the Employee Handbook
Other duties as assigned
