You’ll play a critical role in ensuring materials and finished goods move safely, accurately, and on time. From unloading trucks to preparing shipments, your work helps keep production running and customers satisfied.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 1+ years of related experience (shipping, receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing)
  • Forklift experience preferred (or willingness to learn)
  • Basic computer skills (Excel or similar systems)
  • Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, measure, count accurately)
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
  • Team-first attitude with a willingness to help where needed

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload trucks using a forklift and hand carts
  • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against packing slips, bills of lading, and orders
  • Prepare shipments, including labeling, packaging, and documentation
  • Inspect incoming materials for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues
  • Move materials throughout the facility using forklifts, tier lifts, and hand trucks
  • Stack and wrap pallets using shrink wrap equipment
  • Count, weigh, and record materials received and shipped
  • Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
  • Ensure all outgoing shipments meet company and customer specifications
  • Double-check counts, packaging, and labeling for accuracy
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of all shipments
  • Prepare daily shipping documents for customer coordination
  • Communicate with team members to ensure smooth flow of materials
  • Work overtime as needed to complete daily shipping requirements
  • Follow all safety and quality standards
