About The Position
Penske Logistics is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to become part of an excellent team! This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant and outgoing attitude who want to excel in a warehouse environment. This is a new operation located in Laredo, Texas. New hire orientation is projected to be in August.
Requirements
- Safety conscious
- Pleasant and outgoing attitude
- Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Blue Yonder
- Ability to work with WMS and various other applications
- Ability to audit inbound receipts, both physically and through receipt documentation
- Ability to identify, log, and document potential damages
- Ability to assist with daily and weekly reports
Nice To Haves
- Experience with accounts payable/receivable and collections
- Experience with office supplies management
- Experience maintaining databases and miscellaneous reporting
- Experience working with drivers, operators, customers, and leadership teams
- Experience looking for missing product in storage locations
- Experience working with checkers to ensure accurate receipt of inventory
- Experience auditing existing data for inaccuracies
Responsibilities
- Various office and administrative duties, which may include handling accounts payable/receivable and collections, office supplies, maintaining database and miscellaneous reporting
- Involve yourself in the safety team as required by location
- Prioritize workload and have flexibility to adjust based on position requirements
- Communication with drivers, operators, customers on site, and leadership team
- Daily use of Outlook, Excel, and Blue Yonder
- Look for missing product in storage locations
- Work with checkers to ensure accurate receipt of inventory
- Audit inbound receipts, both physically and through receipt documentation
- Accurately input required data elements into WMS and various other applications
- Audit existing data for inaccurate data
- Accurately identify, log, and document potential damages
- Assist with daily and weekly reports
- Other projects and tasks assigned by supervision
