About The Position

The Shipping & Receiving Clerk plays a key role in supporting the flow of materials throughout Noble-X by receiving, inspecting, storing, and shipping products and components. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, preparing shipments, and ensuring materials are delivered safely and efficiently to internal and external customers. The role regularly operates forklifts and other material handling equipment to move materials throughout the facility while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification required.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and material handling throughout the shift.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed to meet customer and production requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory control, manufacturing, or logistics preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and experience using ERP, inventory management, or shipping systems preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy when processing inventory, packing slips, and shipping documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, packing slips, bills of lading, and other shipping and receiving documents.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, components, and supplies against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Process packing slips and shipping documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Pick, package, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
  • Clean, deburr, inspect, and package manufactured parts to meet customer and quality requirements.
  • Load and unload trucks safely using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Transport raw materials, finished goods, and work-in-process inventory throughout the facility.
  • Stock shelves and maintain organized storage locations for materials, supplies, and finished goods.
  • Process inventory transactions and maintain accurate inventory records within the ERP system.
  • Conduct cycle counts and assist with maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Work closely with the Sales and Credit departments to support customer orders, shipment requirements, and documentation needs.
  • Coordinate with production, purchasing, and customer service teams to ensure material availability and on-time delivery.
  • Maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory records and documentation.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
