About The Position

JLL is seeking both experienced and entry-level Shipping/Receiving and Warehouse Clerks to join our dynamic team at a client site in St. Paul, MN. In this essential role, you'll be the backbone of our warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring seamless handling of incoming and outgoing shipments while supporting our client's daily business needs. Working alongside a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders, you'll apply your attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain efficient warehouse operations. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly and perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, twisting, and operating manual pallet jacks
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with client personnel and diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and concisely
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail when handling sensitive equipment and routing shipments
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple work streams and competing priorities
  • Physical ability to frequently walk up and down stairs for inspections and emergency procedures, and capability to detect emergency alarms (auditory and/or visual)
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics operations
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and warehouse management software
  • Computer skills and experience with Microsoft products such as Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience with data entry and basic reporting
  • Knowledge of shipping regulations and procedures for various carrier services

Responsibilities

  • Receive, sort, process, and distribute all incoming packages and pallets while maintaining accurate inventory records using client inventory systems
  • Process and prepare outbound shipments including desktop shipping labels, Bill of Ladings, non-regulated packages, and temperature-sensitive materials with proper documentation
  • Utilize scanning equipment and software to track all incoming and outgoing packages, troubleshooting technical issues as they arise to ensure continuous operations
  • Generate data analytics reports and metrics on shipping activities to support operational decision-making and identify improvement opportunities
  • Manage and clearly identify all pallet inventories for mail, shipping, and receiving operations, including weighing and bundling corrugated materials for daily shipment
  • Coordinate courier packages including pick-up, delivery confirmation with stakeholders, and timely resolution of any related issues
  • Deliver or coordinate pick-up of packages to customer work areas while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace following prescribed safety regulations
