About The Position
We are seeking a Shipping Clerk to support daily shipping operations by coordinating equipment shipments, preparing products for shipment, and maintaining shipping department supplies. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring products are packaged, documented, and delivered accurately and on time while supporting safe, team-oriented work practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Shipping/Receiving or logistics role
- Computer proficiency to manage shipping paperwork and oversee inbound and outbound trucking
- Certified forklift operator
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- No immigration sponsorship available for this role
Responsibilities
- Ship products according to established Shipping and Receiving procedures
- Obtain freight estimates, prepare prepaid international shipping documents, and schedule appropriate carriers
- Package, crate, protect, and label equipment; create accurate packing slips
- Load packaged products onto carriers and photograph packing and crating at time of shipment
- Communicate with customers to coordinate deliveries, confirm shipping details, and track shipments
- Maintain shipping supply inventory and ensure adequate stock levels
- Keep shipping areas organized and maintain an accurate shipping log
- Attend scheduled production and safety meetings
- Support Receiving activities as needed
