About The Position

Vickers and Nolan Enterprises (VNE) is an engineering company that provides Government projects and programs with experienced and dedicated system architects, engineers, subject matter experts (in tactical intelligence), and program managers. The scope of work covers systems engineering, technical, and management support services for the government and its associated acquisition, technology, logistics, and program management offices. Support is provided to multiple stakeholders responsible for the development, integration, and sustainment of specialized operational capabilities. The scope of support includes program management, engineering analysis and design, configuration management, testing, quality control, sustainment, cybersecurity, training, and field service representative (FSR) support for a static collection capability that functions as a subsystem within a larger integrated system. This is in support of the development, production, and sustainment of specialized intelligence capabilities. Configuration management and associated systems engineering activities are conducted through a collaborative effort among multiple government and partner organizations to ensure interoperability, performance, and lifecycle support.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Two (2) years of experience, to include: assembling orders and preparing goods for shipment; recording shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability; receiving, unpacking materials/supplies and reporting damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record-keeping purposes; and completing shipping and receiving reports.
  • Experience in: Performing clerical and physical tasks in connection with shipping goods of the establishment in which employed and receiving incoming shipments
  • Experience in Performing day-to-day, routine tasks, this worker follows established guidelines.
  • In handling unusual non-routine problems, this worker receives specific guidance from supervisors or other officials
  • Directing and coordinating the activities of other workers engaged in handling goods to be shipped or being received.
  • Shipping duties typically involve the following: verifying that orders are accurately filled by comparing items and quantities of goods gathered for shipment against documents; ensuring that shipments are properly packaged, identified with shipping information, and loaded into transporting vehicles, and preparing and keeping records of goods shipped, e.g., manifests, bills of lading.
  • Receiving duties typically involve the following: verifying the correctness of incoming shipments by comparing items and quantities unloaded against bills of lading, invoices, manifests, storage receipts, or other records, checking for damaged goods, ensuring that goods are appropriately identified for routing to departments within the establishment, and preparing and keeping records of goods received.
  • Secret Clearance required, must be clearable to the TS/SCI level.
