About The Position

This role is for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk on the 1st shift, working Monday through Friday, with a starting hourly rate of $20. The position is located in Addison, IL. The clerk will be responsible for handling pricing, identifying items with catalog numbers and descriptions, verifying quantities, and extending items on customer orders. They will also attract potential customers by answering product and service questions, driving incremental sales, and suggesting other products and services. Customer sales and service will be conducted both at the counter and via phone. The clerk will provide service on product application, features, benefits, and proper handling and maintenance, as well as making sales of services, programs, and products. Additionally, they will resolve product or service problems by clarifying customer complaints, determining the cause, selecting and explaining solutions, expediting corrections or adjustments, and following up to ensure resolution.

Requirements

  • Experience reading schematics and determining parts needed for specific tool repairs
  • Bilingual proficiency preferred
  • Experience in a customer-facing role within a Retail/Service environment.
  • A high degree of integrity and accountability.
  • Dependability, reliability, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Superior customer service and salesmanship skills.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook.
