The Shipping & Receiving Store Clerk is responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, parts, and finished goods. This role ensures inventory accuracy, maintains appropriate stock levels, and supports production and operational needs through timely movement of materials. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to maintaining quality and safety standards

Requirements

  • Requires 3 years of related experience
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience supporting Medtronic distribution center operations, including waving orders, assigning isles, running orders, and batch swaps
  • Prior experience in a distribution center or in a warehouse operation
  • Advanced English language fluency
  • Strong verbal and written communication to convey goals clearly
  • Active listening and the ability to give constructive feedback
  • Some experience in delegating tasks to team members
  • Must have the ability to adjust to changing priorities
  • 5 years of related experience

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Verify shipments against packing slips, purchase orders, and receiving documentation.
  • Inspect incoming materials for damage, quantity discrepancies, and quality concerns.
  • Accurately enter receiving transactions into inventory management systems.
  • Coordinate resolution of shipment discrepancies with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Pick, stage, and deliver materials to support production schedules.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or hand trucks, as authorized.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
