As a Shipping and Receiving Associate, you'll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive their products accurately and on time. This position offers the opportunity to work with a supportive team, operate warehouse equipment, and contribute directly to the success of our operations.

Requirements

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of warehouse, shipping and receiving, logistics, or material handling experience preferred.
Forklift experience preferred.
Ability to obtain forklift certification if required.
Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Dependable, punctual, and professional attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to lift, move, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
Unload, identify, sort, and store wire and cable inventory, including coils and reels.
Pick, pack, palletize, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
Stage shipments for LTL, flatbed, and truckload carriers.
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
Utilize RF scanners and warehouse systems to track inventory movements.
Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
Rotate inventory and consolidate stock to maximize warehouse efficiency.
Ensure shipments meet customer specifications and carrier requirements.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow all company safety policies, attendance standards, and operating procedures.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily performance goals.
Perform other duties as assigned.
