The Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate and timely processing. This role involves coordinating with various departments, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension based on operational needs.

Requirements

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Class G Driver’s License with a clean driver's abstract
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and have good physical stamina
  • Strong attention to details

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, assemble, and fasten signs according to outlined specifications
  • Perform quality assurance steps that confirm the contents of each order
  • Assist road technicians with loading/unloading vehicles and keeping track of sales and rental inventory
  • Purchase orders for inventory
  • Manage shipping and receiving orders, ensuring accurate and timely processing
  • Responsible for customer pick up
  • Login into different software such as Zoho, and using different shipping carriers such as Freightcom
  • Communicate effectively, clearly, and professionally with co-workers and clients
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
