Base pay rate is $17.00 per hour plus $.50 shift differential 2nd Shift: 12:00PM - 8:00PM, (or until all Trucks are loaded. Some Weekends will be Required) This is a position with the potential overtime. The shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other lifting equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist

Nice To Haves

  • Previous work experience in warehouse environment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Loads product on the trailer using a packing list to verify that all parts are accounted for
  • Places parts on the trailer in a safe hauling manner in accordance with manufacturing procedures to ensure the product does not get damaged during shipment
  • Knows and understands all safety rules and precautions necessary for working in and about a manufacturing environment
  • Package, crate, or load items to ensure safe arrival and capacity loading
  • Packages parts using all types of crating and packaging materials, metal bands, covering, or other methods to secure and protect parts in shipment and for weighing trucks of items as required
  • Responsible for each lift and decides when to check actual vs. maximum allowable trailer load
  • Constantly check each load being made to assure that the job is complete
  • Expedite completion of work in process to meet production schedules
  • Assist with inventory counts as required
  • Maintains continuous improvement practices in work area
  • May be assigned other projects or duties as designated by the Team Leader
