About The Position
The Shipping and Receiving Associate ensures the smooth flow of inventory in and out of the store. This role maintains organization, accuracy, and operational efficiency in all back-of-house processes to support the sales floor and online business.
Requirements
- Previous retail stock or warehouse experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
- Process outgoing shipments and prepare online and in-store transfers
- Maintain organized and efficient back-of-house inventory areas
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation
- Restock merchandise and support floor replenishment
- Maintain shipping documentation and vendor communication
- Maintain relationships with vendors and carriers to ensure shipments arrive on time and in good condition, and manage claims for damaged, missing, or incorrect orders
- Follow safety procedures for lifting and handling merchandise
