About The Position

This role typically operates Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM or 8 AM - 5 PM, with flexibility based on the area being assisted.

Requirements

  • 3+ year experience in shipping & receiving, mailroom, route driving, or similar services.
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License, must be at least 25 years old to meet our standards to company car insurance, and have had license for at least 5 years.
  • A positive and professional attitude with a willingness to go above and beyond for our customers.
  • Ability to perform the following types of physical activities: lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull to move equipment, bend/stoop/squat/kneel, and reach above shoulders.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous material handling skills a plus, including ability to use motorized and manual equipment such as forklifts (in locations where they are needed), pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
  • Background and experience working in a warehouse or loading dock environment, with exposure to varied weather conditions a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Giving amazing customer service to our onsite operation by scanning/delivering/tracking/reporting in and outgoing business packages and mail (via UPS, USPS, Fedex, etc).
  • Assisting the onsite personnel in retrieving their packages and providing records management in person, by email, by phone, or similar methods.
  • Oversee the onsite business center, which may include: office supply stocking, assisting with copy/print orders, conference room setup up, pantry inventory, or light facilities.
  • Serves as backup to route driving roles, which provide delivery to onsite personnel for packages, pallets, etc.
  • Must be willing to be cross-trained to support all tasks required for that site, including, but not limited to: routes, receiving, mail services, shipping, floaters, freight coordination & logistics, loading dock operations, and customer service/help desk.
  • Must be experienced with and able to troubleshoot issues regarding tracking software, secure lockers, and other tools & technology used by the SRM team.
  • Must remain flexible and ready to support the needs of the business.
  • In some field offices, Supervisors will collaborate with cross functional partners to support waste, secure waste, and eWaste programs.
