Overview As a Shipping & Inventory Control Supervisor, you will support Brightstar Lottery's warehouse and logistics operations by leading shipping activities, maintaining inventory accuracy, and driving operational excellence across distribution processes. This role is responsible for ensuring timely order fulfillment, effective inventory control, procurement support for indirect materials, and the development of standardized operating procedures that enhance safety, quality, and efficiency. This role will be located onsite in Lakeland, FL.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, shipping, inventory control, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong knowledge of shipping, warehouse, and inventory management processes.
  • Experience maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counting, audits, and inventory control practices.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills with a focus on process improvement.
  • Capability to develop, implement, and maintain SOPs and operational work instructions.
  • Effective communication skills and experience leading teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
  • Previous supervisory or warehouse team leadership experience.
  • Understanding of procurement processes and indirect material purchasing.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing or distribution operations.
  • Background in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Experience managing supplier performance and blanket purchase orders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily shipping operations to ensure customer orders are prepared accurately and shipped on schedule.
  • Coordinate outbound shipments with carriers, freight providers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and corrective action initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for shipping, inventory control, receiving, and warehouse processes.
  • Investigate shipping discrepancies, inventory variances, and transportation-related issues.
  • Coach and develop team members, communicate operational priorities, support cross-training initiatives, and promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Support procurement activities for indirect materials, including vendor replenishment activities, supplier coordination, and blanket purchase order administration.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
