About The Position

As our Shipping Administrator, reporting to the Manager, Materials, you'll be the essential link that keeps our customer orders moving smoothly from system to shipment. Your primary focus is ensuring every order is accurately processed through our MRP system and that shipping schedules and customer requirements are clearly communicated across the RS organization. You'll serve as the central point of coordination-translating customer needs into actionable plans, keeping our teams informed and aligned on delivery timelines, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks. Whether it's managing order flow, coordinating shipping schedules, or ensuring cross-departmental communication, you'll play a key role in maintaining our commitment to customers and keeping the shipping operations running seamlessly. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2 years of shipping experience or administration within shipping department
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Understanding of and experience with ERP/MRP Systems (RSUS utilizes Epicor)

Responsibilities

  • Review incoming sales orders and create necessary jobs/templates to meet production and customer shipping requirements
  • Create and communicate production schedules for Order Prep, managing Epicor data inputs into a sequenced build plan for order prep and warehouse operations
  • Prepare shipping schedules detailing truck timing and load details
  • Coordinate transportation arrangements and communicate shipment timing to supervisors, Order Prep staff, and relevant team members
  • Ensure completion of all shipping and customs documentation for each shipment
  • Oversee accurate and timely reporting of production and shipments in Epicor
  • Monitor inventory levels of hardware and modules to ensure material availability meets production objectives and customer ship-by dates
  • Assist in major project planning, including packaging and component storage
  • Provide coverage for Shipping Coordinator as needed
  • Basic understanding of ERP/MRP systems. (currently utilizing Epicor)
  • Participating in continuous improvement activities
  • Other duties as assigned
