Requirements

Lift truck operator certification.
Experience with the transportation of Dangerous Goods (DG) by Ground, Air, and Sea.
At least 2 years of experience in a shipping role.
Physically fit for some heavy lifting.
Comfortable using ERP systems in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Handle shipping and receiving duties, ensuring smooth processing of customer goods.
Respond to customer inquiries quickly and professionally (typically within one business day).
Keep customer service teams informed about any changes in shipping dates or issues with equipment.
Ensure all shipping operations comply with company policies, regulations, and safety standards.
Work closely with the shipping supervisor to ensure the operation runs efficiently and without disruption.
Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and premises in good working order.
Process receiving reports, prepare sales orders, generate delivery notes, and update shipping logs accurately and promptly.
Alert senior management to any potential safety issues or financial risks to the company.
